World Not Yet Quite Lost - a world of the erect black garbed peasant women heading to well worn washing stones; of donkeys and paesanos toiling in centuries old vineyards and ancient gnarly olive groves; of shepherds playing their ancient whistles, calming their flocks in high mountain pastures; or of their dogs responding to cow bells and goat bells in remote gorges and ravines.

The Local Gourmet Experience -  The food may be world-class, but it is simple, local and fresh; literally straight from the local farmer and fisherman  markets -  be it hand made pastas, fish, shell-fish, lobster, fruits, cheeses, vegetables, beef, lamb, pork, goat or rabbit.  And, of course, there is the wine.
